Summer Transfer Window 2025

A left back has to be the priority.

I’d imagine another winger is coming in if we agree to this. Would a good move for him, but would also like to see him get minutes here. Looked lightning quick against Cheltenham

We are delighted to welcome Jack Kingdon to the Bluebirds, who will link up with Darren Purse's U21 side.

The defender arrives in the Welsh capital from Manchester United, where he gained experience out on loan at Rochdale.
The 19-year-old has also regularly featured in the U18 Premier League and the Premier League 2 on his way to joining City.
Jack's arrival is our fourth signing at U21 level this summer, following the additions of Gabriel Keita, Charlie O'Brien and Matthew Apter.

Jack Kingdon

Upon signing for the Club, Jack said: "I'm really excited to join a Club with such great history and I can't wait to get going. I'm a very hard-working player who will always give my all for the team.
"I went on loan to Rochdale, which was a good experience because it gave me a taste of men's football. That helped me to learn my trade.
"I've looked at our recent results at U21 level and they're positive. The team are scoring a lot of goals and keeping clean sheets, so I'm looking forward to playing with them.
"At First Team level, you can see young players making debuts and establishing themselves. I just want to be a part of that."

The bottom line is quite interesting

Centre back btw

Shame seeing Nyakuhwa allowed to go on loan, thought he could possibly have made the step up based on his performances so far.

Must mean that a winger is one of the players we are going to be signing before the end of the window.

Alves hasn’t really featured for Leicester, so possibly available. Looked quick last season and with BBM he could prove to be a good player to have.

Yes looks like one is coming.
Alves didn't set the place alight last season. Needs to.be more direct and stop trying to beat his man more than once.
I prefer Issac Davies to be honest.

To be fair, none of our players set the place alight last season.

Tanner came under quite a lot of scrutiny last season, along with Colwill.

Those two have arguably been our best performers this season, Tanner we will miss now for the next few months and no one would even think of dropping Colwill right now.

Alves under the right manager with a young team around him could be great in L1

He came here as a premier league player and disappointed.
He has to be more direct .
As you say a different manager may help.

Well, a youth player for a Premier League club that were in the relegation zone - no one was expecting him to be Oscar Bobb or Saka.

You’re right though that he does need to be more direct, wherever he ends up. He has the pace to beat people, so he should use it

League 1 for a team playing good football in front of big crowds trying to get promoted probably best option for his career right now. Not fully Championship ready yet but has real potential

In fairness, has he been allowed to go on loan?

All we know for sure is that the Anderlecht bid was rejected.
